Welcome to the Website for the NAF Red Dragon Festival of Endurance
Here is a brand new website for the NAF Red Dragon Festival of Endurance, or as some people prefer to call it, the “End of Term Party”. The aim of this new site is to provide you with all the information and latest news you need about the NAF Red Dragon. Whilst a printed or downloadable schedule is still available, we hope that you will find everything you need to know here in the website pages. Please scroll down to the "Quick Guide to This Website" for more help on finding your way around.
STOP PRESS - ONLINE ENTRIES NOW AVAILABLE
Saturday 7 August: Online entries are now available for the NAF Red Dragon. Please see below for some instructions on making online entries and postal entries for the special (multi-day) classes. There are also some additional tips on entering a Red Dragon Team.
Making Online Entries for the Special Classes
Please not that if you wish to enter one of the Special Classes (Dragon's Tail, Golden Dragon, Dragon's Egg or Dragon's Days) then you must make multiple entries, one for each day (two for all the special classes except the Dragons Days which requires three). You must also tell us by stating the name of the special class in the Comments box at the bottom of this form on each entry.
More information on the Special Classes can be found by clicking on the Special Classes tab in the top left-hand corner of this home page.
Having made your entries for each day you can then make a single credit card payment for both or all of them.
Making Postal Entries for the Special Classes
You can make a multi-day postal entry for a Special Class on the specific NAF Red Dragon entry form (which can be downloaded from this website) in the same way as you can for a single day entry. However, please ensure that you write the name of the Special Class you wish to enter at the top of the entry form.
Declaring a Red Dragon Team
You can declare a Red Dragon Team by emailing the Entries Secretary, Jane Hudson, at (preferred) or calling her on 01398 332089 (before 9.00pm), stating the names of the riders / horses and listing all the classes each combination has entered. However, you do have until 9.00am on the Saturday of the event to declare a team with the Ride Secretary. Wednesday 21 July: The stabling charges have been changed so that the fourth day is now free of charge (see the Entry Fees tab for more details). Corralling, camping and use of the on-site showers remain free of charge.
